AwsRdsProxyConnectionPoolArgs

interface AwsRdsProxyConnectionPoolArgs { connectionBorrowTimeout?: Input<number>; initQuery?: Input<string>; maxConnectionsPercent?: Input<number>; maxIdleConnectionsPercent?: Input<number>; sessionPinningFilters?: 'EXCLUDE_VARIABLE_SETS'[]; }

Connection-pool settings for the proxy's default target group.

Example

CODE
const connectionPool: AwsRdsProxyConnectionPoolArgs = { maxConnectionsPercent: 80, maxIdleConnectionsPercent: 50 };

Properties

connectionBorrowTimeout: Input<number>

Maximum time to wait for an available database connection, as an integer from 1 through 3600 seconds.

Default: The RDS Proxy service default of `120` seconds.

initQuery: Input<string>

SQL initialisation query run for each new database connection. The input must resolve to a string.

Default: ```ts No initialisation query. ```

maxConnectionsPercent: Input<number>

Maximum percentage of database connections the proxy may open, as an integer from 1 through 100. This field is required when maxIdleConnectionsPercent is provided.

Default: The RDS Proxy service default of `100` percent.

maxIdleConnectionsPercent: Input<number>

Maximum percentage of idle database connections retained by the proxy, as an integer from 0 through 100. This value requires maxConnectionsPercent and cannot exceed it. When omitted, RDS Proxy defaults it to half of the configured maxConnectionsPercent value.

sessionPinningFilters: 'EXCLUDE_VARIABLE_SETS'[]

MySQL-only session-pinning exceptions. Only EXCLUDE_VARIABLE_SETS is supported; omit this field for PostgreSQL.

Default: ```ts No session-pinning filters. ```
